Small Heroes. Big City. is a photography project that uses action figures, large spaces in Chicago and the viewer’s depth of field to create a realistic comic book world.


Richard is a content and social media specialist with over ten years experience creating compelling content for print and digital with an emphasis on engaging storytelling techniques. He graduated from Loyola’s DMST program in 2015, and he currently works as the Digital Marketing Associate for BreakFree Solutions, an IT transformation company that focuses on helping businesses accelerate to the cloud, operationalize DevOps and automate IT processes.

La Fundacion

La Fundacion is a short documentary about Fundacion Paternitas, an organization in Chile that helps reintegrate former prisoners into society.


Anne is a storyteller. She tells nonfiction narratives via writing, film, and live performance. The stories range in topic from criminal justice to women in comedy to her own personal anecdotes. In 2015, she received her Master’s Degree from Loyola University Chicago in Digital Media and Storytelling. While in school, she focused her studies on documentary filmmaking.

Lapasrada is an alumnus of the DMST program at Loyola. She is originally from Bangkok, Thailand, where she received a B.A. in advertising. Before moving to Chicago, she was an account executive at an advertising agency for three years.
