Be on the lookout for a new phishing campaign that is targeting email credentials.  Information Technology Services will never request your password, user ID, or any other credentials.  When in doubt, take no action and contact your IT department or Helpdesk through previously-established channels.  The fraudulent email will be similar to the following:

 

From: Update your e-mail account [mailto:xxxxxxxxxxx@dallas8ball.com]

Sent: Monday, April 13, 2015 7:30 AM

Subject: Confirm Your E-Mail Details 2015

 

Update 2015.

Dear Members :

This message is from Information Technology Services of This Email to all our Staff. We are currently upgrading our database and e-mail center and this is our final notification to you.we have sent several messages to you without response.

We are deleting all unused Mail account to create space for new accounts.

In order not to be suspended, you will have to update your account by providing the information listed below: xxxxxxxxxxx@yahoo.co.jp

 

Confirm Your E-Mail Details..

E-mail Address::…………………..

E-mail Password::…………..

ReE-mail Password::………….

 

If you fail to confirm your continuous usage of our services by confirming your email password now, your account will be disable and you will not be able to access your email.
