To close out Cybersecurity Awareness Month, we asked all Ramblers to remember that we have a shared responsibility in keeping our community safe and secure online. More than ever before, we are spending significantly more time on our connected devices, whether it be at home or on campus. As our online presence grows, so do the cyber threats we are faced with on a daily basis. Cyber criminals target vulnerable computer systems, including that of a large university such as Loyola University Chicago, but also our personal devices in our homes.
During October, Phinn, our cybersecurity awareness mascot, roamed the campus having fun and helping Loyola students, faculty, and staff make more informed decisions. Check out his latest video to learn more about safe computing methods and cybersecurity best practices:
As always, we appreciate your assistance in keeping Loyola’s information safe. For more information on Cybersecurity Awareness Month, click here. You can also follow us on Facebook and on Twitter at @LUCUISO for the latest on phishing attacks and other information security news.
