Paralegal Hornbook Club meeting on Oct. 11
The Hornbook Club is hosted by Loyola University Chicago’s Paralegal Alumni Network and is open to all book lovers. Institute for Paralegal Studies alumni are welcome to participate and to invite non-alums to participate as well. For our October 11 meeting we will be discussing the fact and fiction behind the great Chicago fire which occurred from October 8-10, 1871. Our meeting falls only one day after the fire ended 140 years ago. Also, our meeting location, the Brehon Pub, was within the burn district. The Brehon Pub has a rich history of its own and a private room set aside for our use where we can discuss our book selections without disruption.
