SCPS Summer 2014 Scholarships Available!
Now that the weather is finally starting to take a turn for the pleasant, we can turn our thoughts to summer and more enjoyable days on the horizon. But don’t let that daydreaming distract you from the fact that Loyola offers a full Summer academic calendar, and SCPS has scholarship funds held in reserve to help our student pay for an extra course (or two) before the fall.
The university-wide Summer session starts May 19th, and SCPS’s 8-week summer schedule starts June 2nd. Course information is available now in LOCUS to help you select a course that will get you that much closer to completing your degree, and SCPS wants to help you pay for it as well.
As of right now there are scholarship funds available in the Osher and Department accounts, so to be considered use both applications. There is an application deadline of Monday, May 5th at 5 PM to be eligible, paper or electronic copies are accepted. Applications to complete can be found on the SCPS website, and questions or completed applications can be directed to the Assistant Dean at jjoslin@luc.edu. All are encouraged to apply!
