Leave Your Mark

Picture 12

On Friday, February 24, at 4:40 p.m., Sinead McCarron wrote, “Not all those who wander are lost,” on a cement wall outside of Sullivan Center. She said, “As I approach graduation in May, I’m becoming more and more anxious about the future. Several of my peers know exactly what they are doing after they leave Loyola, yet I still have no idea. When I stumbled upon this quote by J.R.R. Tolkien on a wall outside of the John Felice Rome center last semester, it helped me realize that it’s natural to feel like a ‘wanderer.’ It’s easy to forget that it’s okay if you don’t know what you want to do with the rest of your life yet. Today, I had to remind myself that sometimes, you just have to wander to figure out what you really want.” I took the picture Saturday, February 25, at 2:33 p.m.
