Hello everyone,
The Biology Department at Loyola University would cordially like to invite you to our keynote speaker at the Frontier in Science Symposium on Tuesday April 23rd at 4:30 PM in Gavin Auditorium.
Sheila Niremberg has developed an “artificial eye” that enables those with macular degeneration to see again. Her work was the subject of a TED talk recently posted (http://www.ted.com/talks/sheila_nirenberg_a_prosthetic_eye_to_treat_blindness.html).
