Why did you choose to attend Loyola University Chicago School of Law? I chose to attend Loyola University Chicago School of Law because I felt the university and city environment provided me with the most diverse (and need-based) set of opportunities to further my public interest goals and hone my desire to become a social justice advocate. The choice of whether to pursue a career devoted to educational policy, immigration reform, inner-city outreach in the form of legal counsel, or a variety of other fields in a rich cultural environment — a designation in which Chicago has no peers — made my law school decision a simple one. Furthermore, Loyola is renowned for its advocacy programs, which provide invaluable litigation experience, has a large number of adjunct faculty, and harbors an encouraging, communal atmosphere among students rather than a cutthroat one. Ultimately, Loyola presented me with the best opportunity to maintain my ethics and human rights goals within a stimulating environment.
