Incoming 1L’s- Apply to be an Admissions Ambassador

What is the Loyola University Chicago Law Student Ambassadors program?

The Loyola University Chicago Law Student Ambassadors program is an integral part of the Admission and Recruitment process working directly with the Admission and Financial Assistance Office. The Student Ambassadors are an exceptional group of individuals in the Loyola law community who, as both individuals and a group, present a tangible student identity to prospective students. Ambassadors are a diverse group characterized by their high academic achievement and friendly, helpful demeanor. These students represent a broad spectrum of interest areas in the legal practice, undergraduate institutions attended, and experiences.

Hear from our 2L Ambassadors on why you should apply:

Being a Law Admissions’ Ambassador gives you the great opportunity to introduce prospective and admitted students to Loyola.  Because you are now an expert in law school applications, LSAT prep, and choosing the perfect law school, you can help mentor others and give them a warm welcome to Loyola.

Being a student ambassador has been a great experience for me. I was able to learn a lot about Loyola, meet some great people I probably wouldn’t have run into yet, and give back to the school by sharing my experiences there with others in order to assist them making their law school decision. Students were such a huge and influential part of my law school experience and I hope I was able to impact others in the same way. Applying and participating for the program was so rewarding (and provided me with some nice breaks from studying!), I would encourage anyone who is interested to do the same!

Why not?!  You get the chance to interact with your potential classmates and share your experience at Loyola.  It is a great way to also meet with your professors because you will have a chance to interact with them during various receptions, student programs, and student visits.  It is a great opportunity to help others make the right choice for them in selecting a law school!

Being a law admissions ambassador has been a very fun experience.  I enjoy speaking with students and finding out their rationale for wanting to pursue law school and beyond that, picking the right school for them.  You should apply to be a law student ambassador if you love to speak to new students, if you enjoying giving meaningful advice about your decision process, and if you are passionate about Loyola University Chicago School of Law.

I love getting to be part of the decision-making process for prospective students.  It’s interesting and fun to learn about the different backgrounds people are coming from when considering law school.  And when someone decides Loyola is the place for them, it’s rewarding to know you had a part in it!

I have loved my experience as a law admissions ambassador. It is a great way to meet perspective students and shape the future of Loyola University Chicago Law School. I am very proud to attend this law, and I think it is important to recruit the type of students that will continue to better the program.
