Student Life: Spring 2013 Block Party

BlockParty1

April 26th 2013: The last day of spring semester classes at Loyola Chicago. A day for law students to emerge from their library nook or group study room to catch a last glimpse of the outside world before returning to study for final exams. Some of our law students choose to celebrate this time with the rest of the Loyola community at the annual Spring Block Party at Loyola’s Water Tower Campus (WTC). The block party takes place on Pearson Street, between the Corboy Law Center and the Baumhart Residence Hall. The event lasted from 11-2pm, which was more than enough time to sample all your favorites and meet up with friends.

The Block Party featured local area restaurants like; Qdoba Chicago, Taco Burrito King (River North), Potbelly Sandwich Shop, Connie’s Pizza, and Epic Burger and more.

Festivities included a zip line, stilt walker, caricature artist, henna tattoo artist, photo booth, and magicians.
