Hello! Welcome to the Environmental Law Society of Loyola University Chicago School of Law Blog. These posts are written by students and community members on developing environmental issues, the law, and other related subjects.

The publication process begins with the submission of a topic to the above address. Once approved, posts of approximately 1500 words with citations can be submitted for review. Once the collaborative editing process between the editor and the author is complete the post can be published.

Requirements

  1. Articles must be approximately 1500 words; slight deviation from this is perfectly fine
  2. In-line citations
  3. The article must be submitted to the blog editor prior to being published on the blog; we will edit the article together and have it posted as soon as possible.

Potential Topics

As stated previously, a blog post can concern any topic, so long as it relates back to an environmental issue in some way. This means it can be written in tandem with another topic and how it relates to the environment as well as a purely environmental topic. The post can be a comment on a recent event, lawsuit, government action, etc.
