Future Teachers/IEA (Illinois Education Assoc.) Loyola sponsors a Junior Future Teachers Club at Swift School
Junior Future Teachers Club is a club to prepare middle school students to be educators and leaders in their school. Middle school students work with undergraduate students to prepare lesson plans to work with first grade students who need support in reading. At the end of the school year, the Jr. Future Teachers were able to show parents some summer activities to do with their children to improve math and reading levels.The Jr. future teachers were recently presented with certificates for their participation this school year at a dinner hosted by Future Teachers/IEA Loyola.
