There is a new phish circulating this morning that uses bit.ly to direct you to a web site that will ask for your credentials. \u00a0A sample is below. \u00a0Remember no one at Loyola will ever send you an email that threatens to disable your account while asking you to “log in to verify” your credentials.<\/p>\n

Separation is defined as graduation, transfer, leave of absence, etc. Students and Staff who have separated from the university are not able to keep their “luc.edu” email account, therefore, we shall pass this message around a few times and afterwards suspend access to this email address and terminate this service to quarantine this activity.<\/p>\n

If you think this was an error and your e-mail is still being actively used by you, please click here\u00a0to login and verify this account. Your email will be removed from the delete queue after 48 hrs. Subsequent information will be passed on to you after successful logon.
