OUCH! March Edition – “Disposing of Your Mobile Device”
Posted on: March 6th, 2019 by
We are excited to announce March’s OUCH! newsletter – “Disposing of Your Mobile Device“. Led by Guest Editor and mobile device expert Chris Crowley, we cover how to securely wipe your mobile device before getting rid of it. You have a tremendous amount of highly sensitive and personal information on your mobile devices. Who has access to that when you get rid of it? Protect yourself and share OUCH! with family, friends and co-workers.
We’re excited to announce the SANS Institute’s Annual Call for Presentations (CFP) for the 6th annual Security Awareness Summit! This year’s Summit will be 7/8 August in San Diego, California. We are looking for speakers who are actively involved in helping organizations build, maintain, or measure security awareness programs and can share real-world stories and lessons learned on propelling an awareness program to the next level. Our promise is for attendees to walk away with actionable lessons they can apply right away to their own program. Have a story you want to share? Submit your talk no later than Monday, March 11th.
