These images can be useful for creating a demonstration of a program or even for recording a problem on your computer. You can easily take a screenshot on a Mac or PC without installing additional software.<\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nFor PC<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>On the upper right-hand      side of your keyboard, press <strong>PrtScn<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>The screenshot will be      copied onto your clipboard. Open any image-editing program like Paint and      click on <strong>Paste<\/strong> or use the keyboard command: <strong>Control-V<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Save the image.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>For Mac<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol type=\"1\">\n<li>On your keyboard, press<strong> Command (Apple Key) &#8211; Shift &#8211; 3,<\/strong> in this order, to capture      the entire screen. \u00a0Or press, <strong>Command &#8211; Shift &#8211; 4<\/strong> to highlight      and select an area of the screen to capture.<\/li>\n<li>The image will be saved to      your desktop.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p><strong>Screen Capture Software <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in more advanced features for taking screen captures, there are quite a few useful programs out there.\u00a0\u00a0<span style=\"color: #3366ff\"> <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/screen-capture.asp\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff\">Snag<span style=\"color: #3366ff\">I<\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #3366ff\">t<\/span><\/a>, for PC, allows you to edit your image by highlighting areas, adding call-outs, arrows, text and more.
