The School of Social Work&#8217;s Julia Pryce (Associate Professor), Michael Kelly (Professor), Mary Lawinger &#8217;17 and Anne Wildman &#8217;15 published the article, \u201cConversation Club: A Promising Practice in Youth Mentoring of Migrants and Refugees.&#8221; The article, evaluates a Canadian after-school group mentoring intervention focusing on the expansion of the program across the separate regions of Ontario.\u00a0Mary graduated with honors in 2017 with a specialization in mental health. Mary is the Supervisor of Independent Supportive Housing at Heartland Alliance in Chicago, IL. At Heartland she oversees three HUD contracts and one sub-contract for permanent supportive housing programs in the city of Chicago. She is also responsible for intensive case management for a small caseload of formerly homeless participants impacted by HIV\/AIDS living in permanent housing.
