Study of Online Learning

Many people wonder how online courses compare to traditional on-campus courses in terms of student learning. However, most people would be surprised to know that online learning has been shown to be just as or even more effective than traditional classroom learning.  In 2009, the US Department of Education did a meta-study of online learning, in which they reviewed and analyzed many studies that had been conducted on online learning as compared to classroom learning. This meta-analysis finds that “on average, students in online learning conditions performed better than those receiving face-to-face instruction.” Take a look at the report “Evaluation of Evidence-Based Practices in Online Learning” for this and other important findings! Register for one of our online courses today.
