Intellectual Property Law Society (IPLS)

Interested in Intellectual Property law???

The Intellectual Property Law Society (IPLS) encourages the participation of all Loyola law students who have an interest in intellectual property issues – including patent, copyright, trademark, and trade secret law. The IPLS coordinates events each year specifically focused to provide its membership with networking, educational, and social opportunities. The organization’s most recent events have included a panel of IP practitioners from Nixon Peabody and a Chicago Intellectual Property Alliance (CIPA) mentor-mentee dinner.

IPLS members are encouraged to participate in the national Patent Law Interview Program, which is conducted annually by Loyola’s Office of Career Services. The Interview Program brings patent law employers nationwide to interview prospective candidates in Chicago for summer associate positions.
