{"id":3239,"date":"2017-11-29T10:41:40","date_gmt":"2017-11-29T15:41:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.luc.edu\/ips\/?p=3239"},"modified":"2024-06-20T15:45:45","modified_gmt":"2024-06-20T15:45:45","slug":"ips-faculty-research-tart","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.luc.edu\/ips\/?p=3239","title":{"rendered":"IPS Faculty Therese Lysaught and Dan Rhodes Continue Research On Theological Action Research Teams (TART)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>November 29, 2017 <strong><br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This past summer, <strong>The Association of Theological Schools<\/strong> <strong>(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ats.edu\/\">ATS<\/a>)<\/strong> awarded the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.luc.edu\/ips\/\"><strong>Institute of Pastoral Studies<\/strong><\/a> and Dr. Dan Rhodes with an Innovative Projects grant to aid in developing\u00a0a new approach to Contextual Education (CE) in the model of Theological Action Research Teams (TART).<\/p>\n<p>As part of the research associated with this ATS grant, Professors Therese Lysaught and Dan Rhodes recently traveled to <strong>The Centre for Theology &amp; Community (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.theology-centre.org.uk\/\">CTC<\/a>)<\/strong> in East London, UK.\u00a0 While in England, Professors Lysaught and Rhodes met with <strong>CTC<\/strong> Director, Rev.
