Apres cours (after class) on Mardi and Mercredi our class took a few field trips…<\/strong><\/p>\n

The first mini adventure was to the Parc Jourdan in Aix, where we played a traditional french game called petanque:<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

In a very simple\u00a0explanation of the game of petanque, a small “jack” (a small wooden ball usually) is thrown away from three\u00a0players. The players,\u00a0with two metal boules each, then take turns to try and\u00a0throw their boule closest to the jack.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

\u00a0The boule closest to the jack\u00a0receives\u00a0the most\u00a0points and after a few\u00a0rounds the individual\u00a0who has\u00a0the most points, wins the game!\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The second adventure on Wednesday started with a 30+ minute\u00a0bus ride…<\/p>\n
