A Spotlight on Our School Psychology Students

Claudia Hernandez, PhD School Psychology student, has been selected to present at the Multicultural Affairs Committee’s 2016 Diversity Dialogue: Spotlight on School Psychology Change Agents Special Session at the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) convention next month. She is one of  a few Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CLD) graduate student nominees selected to speak about her work and on the research she’s been doing with Dr. Pam Fenning, Professor, School of Education.

Natasha Yancey,  EdS School Psychology student, has been awarded the NASP Minority Scholarship

Tyrone Wheeler  and Garrick Montesinos EdS and Yari Diaz PhD, School Psychology students, are recipients of the Illinois Fund for Careers in School Psychology scholarship (a scholarship designed to support racial and ethnic minority students studying school psychology). Only 5 awards were given, and 3 of the 5 recipients were students in the Loyola University Chicago School Psychology program! Go Loyola!
