6th Annual Freshmen Conference
On February 10, 2011, the School of Education hosted the 6th Annual Freshmen Conference. Freshmen teacher candidates from all the education majors came together to discuss their major of interest, requirements for the degree, and options as a future teacher. With the help of current faculty and students in Teacher and Learning the conference covered areas English as a Second Language, Reading Teacher, and Special Education which are current shortage areas within the field of education. The teacher candidates felt that the conference helped them become more informed and motivated them for their future profession. Please enjoy the slideshow from the conference.
