“Mailbox Quota” – Phishing Scam – September 24, 2018

Below is the most recent phishing email and website we have seen.  Similar to past emails, this scam attempts to trick users into entering personal account information (e.g. username/password). Users should not click any links in this email and should delete it right away. As a reminder, Loyola will never ask for your password or to verify your account.

Subject: Mailbox Quota !!!

You Have Exceeded the Limit of your Mailbox Quota. You will not be able to send or receive new E-mail until you boost your Mailbox Size

    It never lets me open the link they sent with the email. It always says connection lost when I try and open it.

      The link has been blocked. This email was posted specifically to inform people about this particular Phishing email. I will strongly suggest that you stop clicking on the link and permanently delete the email from your inbox. Thank you
