Students, Faculty and Staff should be wary of an email that purportedly comes from a Loyola student looking for someone to be her uncle’s part time “personal assistant” for $500.00 a week. Although there is nothing malicious in the email, if you reply to the email address in the body of the email, they will contact you and attempt to get your banking information under the guise of setting up a means to pay you. This is a modified message similar to the one posted on August 3rd for a “dog walker”. As always, users should exercise diligence and a cautious eye when getting an unsolicited email especially when it looks too good to be true.
