One Semester Down (Well Almost)!

One Semester Down (Well Almost)!

Well, here I am, 6 days away from being done with the the first half of my last year at Loyola. It’s insane. I’m very excited to see what the future holds, but also not ready to leave this wonderful school and all the wonderful people I have met along the way.

I’ve learned so much along the way, but I wanted to share with you the top three things.

1. You make new friends, you lose some, and then there are those that will be there forever.

Over the last couple of  years, I’ve learned that people come and go in your lives, but you’ll also make some wonderful new friends who will be there for the long run. College is such a crazy experience, with its ups and downs, but it’s memorable because of the people who were there with you during it all.

2. Your grades are important, but not everything.

I’ve also learned that while grades and academics are important, there is also so much more to being in college than classes. The extracurriculars and exploring the city beyond are some of the coolest experiences that will make going to college a memorable experience, beyond the all nighters and stressful days.

3. Lastly, It’s important to be open minded and embrace change

Tying everything up, the most important thing I’ve learned is that during college we all go through lots of change, but the easiest way to get the most of the college is to be open minded and embrace the change. I’ve met people so different from me, but I’ve learned so much from these people because I was open to meeting them! 🙂
