Two Unique Experiences

This time I want to share with you two winter experiences you can ONLY get in the Windy City! These two things only happen in November and December, during Holiday season, every year and are both things that you do not want to miss out on!

 

1.Lincoln Park ZooLights!

The Zoo Lights is basically where the Lincoln Park zoo is decorated with Christmas lights, and all decorated. It is truly a beautiful sight to see, and so much fun! Not only is the zoo already free, but this even is free as well! It’s a pretty popular event, and if you go, expect it to be packed! The event usually goes from the end of November to the beginning of the new year, every weekend from 5-9 pm.

2.Holiday Train!

If you’re from Chicago, or have ever been to Chicago, you know that public transportation is your fastest and most efficient mode of travel. Well, that being said, during the holiday season, the CTA turns festive! Starting mid November thru Christmas time, one of the CTA trains becomes the Holiday Train! The Holiday Train is decorated with Christmas lights, candy canes, reindeers, and even Santa! Some of the cars are so festive that they have people singing Christmas carols! It’s such a fun experience, and if you get the chance to get on the Holiday Train—you’ll see what a cool thing it is!
