Design your Own Font
Thursday, April 2nd, 2009If you’re working on a project where any ordinary font won’t do or you’ve just got some time on a rainy day; why not create your own original font? FontStruct, a free browser tool, enables anyone to create a unique font, using an intuitive interface. FontStruct provides simple tools (pencil/paper/eraser) that enable users to color in “bricks” conforming to a grid. Once you complete an entire alphabet, you can download the font and move it into your PC’s font folder.
All you need to do to get started is to create a username and password to sign-in. If you don’t have the time or patience for font design, you can also browse through the Gallery of fonts that others have created to share.
