Even though she doesn’t have a parade to preside over, St. Patrick’s Day Queen Kari McClowry (pictured at top right below), a Loyola MSW student with an interest in school social work, is not going to let that dampen her spirits. Currently working in a hospice setting, McClowry lost her father to cancer and dedicated her 2020 crowning to her dad. In a year of duties cut short by the pandemic, she has been honored to represent the Irish community and will get a moment to shine on ABC 7’s Windy City LIVE airing Wednesday, March 17 at 1 PM and 12:05 AM on ABC 7.
