Accidental Plagiarism: Loyola Students Tell the Pros How to Avoid It

Since the start of the month, two veteran reporters have been caught plagiarizing. New York Times reporter Zachery Kouwe lifted passages from the Wall Street Journal at least six times. Huffington Post blogger Gerald Posner copied at least seven sentences from a Miami Herald article. Both seemed genuinely shocked by what they had done, and resigned from their positions.
