School of Communication offers awards, scholarships

Students in Loyola University Chicago’s  School of Communication are eligible to receive awards and scholarships as part of the SOC’s annual Awards Ceremony.

Faculty can nominate students, or students can nominate themselves. 

Nominations forms are available at the reception desk on the second floor of the School of Communication, 51 E. Pearson Street, Chicago, Il. 60611.

The deadline for nominations is 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 31.

The School of Communication Awards Ceremony is scheduled for Friday, April 23.

Here are the categories:
Outstanding Junior and Senior Communications Studies Major
Outstanding Junior and Senior Advertising and Public Relations Major
Outstanding Junior and Senior Journalism Major
Outstanding Service Award
Jim Gibbons Memorial Scholarship for a Broadcast Production
Beta Rho Social Justice Communication Award
