Legal Research Refresher Workshop – August 3
This non-credit workshop reviews legal research skills and strategy. It is intended as a refresher for those already familiar with legal research either from coursework or employment training in a paralegal job setting. The class will cover how to conduct advanced research into a range of sources including case and statutory law as well as secondary sources. The class is designed to provide students with the skills to find answers to legal questions through a varied research approach in order to optimize results. Additionally, it will refresh students in computer assisted legal research tools as well as introduce them to various online public access legal research tools.
