As of spring, 2010, SCPS acquired former College of Arts and Sciences professional certificates in actuarial science, computer science, mathematics, graphic design, and developed important certificates in emergency medical services, integrated marketing communication, operations research, organizational development, organizational leadership, organizational psychology, social services and non-profit management, and statistics. These certificates allow students to complete the necessary coursework to become familiar with an industry or area of professional expertise. Students enroll alongside majors and minors in credit-based courses that allows them the in-depth study of each area.
A certificate could make the difference between getting that promotion or even updating your skills to get that job you always wanted.
