Loyola University Chicago Hosts
the Third Biennial Catholic Imagination Conference
Gathering Awarding-winning Writers, Artists, and Critics
from Across the Country, the Conference Will Explore the Future
of the Catholic Literary Tradition

Along with select national cosponsors, Loyola University Chicago’s Hank Center for the Catholic Intellectual Heritage is hosting the Third Biennial Catholic Imagination Conference, September 19-21. Convening at the University’s Water Tower and Lake Shore campuses, each session will explore a variety of questions surrounding the Catholic imagination in literature and the arts.

The conference will serve as a conduit for conversation amongst a collection of literary and artistic luminaries and will engage a wide audience in considering what the future might be for the Catholic literary tradition while also looking at its current state.

The conference features more than 80 writers, poets, filmmakers, playwrights, journalists, editors, publishers, students, and critics. The plenary speakers include:
