Loyola University Chicago to Host Chicago Ideas Week Lab
Participants Will Help Make Biodiesel and Biosoap, Test Aquaponics Water Quality, and Explore Loyola’s Institute of Environmental Sustainability
What:
Loyola University Chicago’s Institute of Environmental Sustainability, in collaboration with Solomon Cordwell Buenz, will host a Chicago Ideas Week lab entitled “Sustainability in an Urban Environment.”
Participants will get hands-on experience with the biodiesel and biosoap production process, aquaponics water quality testing, and enjoy a tour of Loyola’s state-of-the-art facility.
For one week each October, Chicago Ideas Week brings together hundreds of the world’s brightest thought leaders to inspire, connect, and activate the city of Chicago and beyond. Speakers present their ideas and inspire the innovations of tomorrow at 80+ sessions across Chicago.
