Loyola University Museum of Art Presents “Angels of Paris”

What:
Join the Loyola University Museum of Art (LUMA) and author Rosemary Flannery for “Angels of Paris,” a lecture highlighting Flannery’s photography book, Angels of Paris: An Architectural Tour Through the History of Paris.

Subtly and subliminally, angels are a part of the fanciful and romantic spirit of Paris. Created with the intent to explore charming sculptures of angels across the City of Light, Angels of Paris delves into the artistic trends and historic movements surrounding the sculptures that adorn numerous Parisian structures. Flannery will present a slide lecture of the book’s photographs, as well as answer questions and sign copies of her book.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information or to RSVP, contact Mary Arhondonis at luma@luc.edu or click here.
