Loyola University Chicago Presents the Third Annual International Symposium on Digital Ethics
Loyola University Chicago’s Center for Digital Ethics & Policy is hosting its Third Annual International Symposium on Digital Ethics on October 4, 2013.
Scholars from across the nation and globe will come together to explore ethical behavior in online and digital environments, and will present on a variety of topics, including cyber security, game studies and design, advancement of applied ethics and political philosophy, and more. This year’s symposium will also include a keynote address from Douglas Rushkoff, documentary-maker and author of Present Shock: When Everything Happens Now.
Other notable speakers at this year’s symposium include Mariarosaria Taddeo from the University of Warwick, Mia Consalvo from Concordia University, Bernhard Debatin from Ohio University, Robert Cavalier from Carnegie Mellon University, Jim Brady from Digital First Media, Marty Stock of Calvary Agency, and Senior Vice President of Edelman Digital, Phil Gomes.
