FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Loyola University Chicago to Host Vigil for Humane Immigration Reform
As the issue of immigration reform becomes increasingly important, Loyola University Chicago’s Campus Ministry will host the Vigil for Humane Immigration Reform on September 25 at 9 p.m.
The vigil is being hosted as part of the Ignatian Solidarity Network’s national call for Jesuit schools to reflect, educate, pray, and act for humane immigration reform during the week of September 22-29. As Loyola University Chicago stands alongside U.S. Catholic Bishops and U.S. Jesuit Provincials, the University asks for immigration policies that create accessible pathways to citizenship, work to maintain family unity, and support youth without documentation through passage of the DREAM Act.
