2013 Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration: Rebuild The Dream
Van Jones, One of TIME’s “Most Influential People in the World,” to Deliver Address

Loyola University Chicago’s Department of Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs will host the 2013 MLK Celebration: Rebuild The Dream on Wednesday, January 23, and welcome Van Jones as the keynote speaker. The annual MLK celebration at Loyola offers students, faculty, staff, and the community the opportunity to come together to recognize and support efforts in the ongoing fight for equality throughout the United States.

This year, the keynote address will be delivered by Van Jones, former green jobs advisor to the White House and one of TIME magazine’s “Most Influential People in the World.”

Jones will deliver two speeches on January 23; one at Loyola’s Lake Shore Campus and the other on the University’s downtown Water Tower Campus. A book signing will follow the Lake Shore Campus address. Registration is not required, and the event is free to attend. For more information, please visit LUC.edu/insideloyola.
