Chicago’s Top Sports Businessmen Speak at Loyola’s Dean Speaker Series
Michael Alter, George McCaskey, and Tom Ricketts to Discuss the Family Business of Sports
Loyola University Chicago’s School of Business Administration will host three prominent Chicago sports businessmen as part of its Dean’s Speaker Series, which will focus on “The Family Business of Sports.”
Michael Alter, principal owner of the Chicago Sky, George H. McCaskey, chairman of the Chicago Bears, and Tom Ricketts, chairman of the Chicago Cubs, will lead the discussion on family business practices in sport management. Keith Lambrecht, director of the University’s Sport Management program, will moderate the panel.
Hosted by School of Business Administration Dean Kathleen Getz, PhD, and her Board of Advisors, the Dean’s Speaker Series on Responsible Leadership aims to increase discussion and awareness of the business community’s responsibility for strong and ethical leadership.
