FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Loyola University Chicago Presents the Student Production Eleemosynary
Loyola University Chicago’s talented theatre department will present this season’s student production of Lee Blessing’s Eleemosynary. The story follows the lives and subsequent relationships of three generations of women in a troubled family. Beginning when the aging matriarch has a stroke, this production explores the dynamic interactions between her, her estranged daughter, and precocious granddaughter.
Under the direction of senior Michelle Bradley, Eleemosynary, which is defined as “of, dependent on, or relating to charity,” illuminates the precarious lines between dependency, family, and charity.
The production will be held in Loyola University Chicago’s Studio Theatre. For more information, please e-mail email@example.com or visit blogs.luc.edu/artsalive.
