Loyola’s BioSoap to be Featured on QiVeev.com
BioSoap Deal Available September 5 and September 6
Loyola University Chicago is excited to announce its Center for Urban Environmental Research and Policy’s (CUERP) eco-friendly soap, BioSoap, will be featured on QiVeev on September 5 and 6. The new website, which supports environmentally friendly businesses by encouraging customers to go green, offers great online deals that make being eco-friendly easy and affordable.
For $7.99, buyers will receive an 8.5 ounce pump bottle of BioSoap, as well as two travel bottles. All proceeds will benefit the continued success of CUERP’s biodiesel program and its high school outreach program. Customers who purchase the deal can pick up the BioSoap product at CUERP’s biodiesel lab located at 6317 North Broadway, Chicago, Illinios, 60660. If you live outside the Chicago area and are a Loyola alum, contact Zach Waickman, the biodiesel program manager, and you can get the BioSoap shipped to you for free.
In 2007, students in CUERP’s Solution to Environmental Problems biodiesel program began producing biodiesel fuel from campus waste. In the process, they discovered a way to use the byproduct of the biodiesel and create an environmentally friendly soap, BioSoap.
