FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Loyola University Chicago’s DFPA Presents Einstein’s Dreams
Einstein’s Dreams is a theatrical experiment directed and adapted by Loyola’s own senior theatre and theology major Mercedes Inez Martinez and based on a 1992 novel by Alan Lightman of the same name. It explores the question, “How are the artist and scientist alike?” It also examines the need and obsessive drive to seek out the answers to life’s questions with the human imagination. Utilizing text, music, and Ann Bogart’s “Viewpoints,” Martinez hopes to explore Einstein’s “Theory of Relativity” through the various perspectives of time and space an audience experiences.
This event is free and open to the public. No tickets are required, but you may call the Department of Fine and Performing Arts box office at 773.508.3847 or e-mail BoxOffice@LUC.edu to place a reservation for advance seating.
