Department of Fine arts and Performing Arts Presents An Evening with Anthony Molinaro

Acclaimed for his “edge-of-the-seat brilliance” and “musically imaginative mind,” Loyola faculty member and pianist Anthony Molinaro presents a spectacular evening of music featuring his wildly popular solo rendition of George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue. The program will also include Molinaro’s unique arrangements and improvisations on music of The Beatles, with fellow faculty members Scott Burns and Victor Garcia.

Winner of the prestigious Naumburg International Piano Competition, Molinaro has appeared as guest soloist with over 50 symphony orchestras, and will perform in Canada, Austria, Germany, Italy, and Norway this season, in addition to his many U.S. engagements. For more information on Anthony Molinaro, visit www.anthonymolinaro.com.

The concert, which will also be broadcast live on Loyola’s own WLUW-FM (88.7), is free, but reservations are strongly recommended. Reservations can be made at luc.edu/dfpa or by calling the box office at 773.508.3847.
