Loyola Hosts Water Advisor to the United Nations

What:
As part of its 2010 Water Colloquium, Loyola University Chicago will host Maude Barlow, advisor to the United Nations on Water and best-selling author and co-author of 16 books, including Blue Gold. Barlow will speak about his new book, Blue Covenant: The Global Water Crisis and The Coming Battle for the Right to Water.

The 2010 Water Colloquium, a week-long series of events intended to raise awareness of the global water crisis, will cover topics such as the debate over privatizing water supplies and the environmental impacts of plastic bottled water.
