Elliott Kicks-Off School of Education’s Inaugural LectureSeries
Loyola University Chicago’s School of Education is pleased to announce that Judy Elliott, PhD, chief academic officer for the Los Angeles Unified School District, will present Preparing Teachers for Today’s Schools, the inaugural lecture for the school’s annual John Wozniak, PhD, Lecture Series.
Often times, researchers and professors focus on future trends and challenges facing teachers, administrators, and the education system, but Elliott will shed light on present issues, successes, and challenges teachers experience in today’s schools. The lecture will also serve to prepare current education majors to face the environment in America’s schools as they transition from the university level to careers in education.
Registration is required for this event. To RSVP, please call 312.915.6800, or visit LUC.edu/soejw.
