Loyola Introduces Innovative Food Systems Course to the Chicago Community via Public Forum
Student Presentations and Expert Panel Discussion Headline Forum Schedule

What:
Loyola University Chicago is hosting a Food Systems Public Forum to educate Loyolans, and the greater Chicago community, about the University’s initiatives to make both the campus and community food systems more sustainable. The forum will showcase a number of students projects and also include a panel discussion with local food experts, including Debbie Hillman of the Chicago Food Policy Advisory Council and Lynn Peemoeller, an urban food systems planner.

Why:
In honor of Earth Day, the University is hosting this forum to educate not just Loyolans, but the surrounding community as well, on the numerous ways to become involved in the sustainability efforts on both the Loyola campus and in the Chicagoland area.
