Loyola University Chicago Hosts 2008 Eco Fair

Loyola University Chicago is hosting its 2008 Eco Fair, an event highlighting the connection and importance between consumer choices and the impact humans have on the environment, on November 11. During the fair, the University’s Sustainable Commitments team will launch an eco-awareness campaign to encourage Loyola students, faculty, and staff members to make a commitment to living a greener life. Participants will be invited to create blogs and other digital media documenting their participation, which will then be featured at the University’s fall 2008 Solutions To Environmental Problems Sustainability Forum. That event will be held on Thursday, December 4.

Tuesdays fair will include speakers, crafts, vendors, and live entertainment while students, faculty, and staff mingle and discuss their current consumer roles. Free food, raffles, and other prizes will be offered.
