Loyola Holds 2008 Women’s Leadership Conference
Loyola Brings Together Chicago’s Brightest Female Leaders at Special Event
Loyola University Chicago’s Gannon Center for Women & Leadership and School of Continuing and Professional Studies (SCPS) are pleased to present the first annual Women’s Leadership Conference, providing the women leaders of Chicago the opportunity to expand their professional networks by meeting faculty, mentors, and prospective students. The conference will include a variety of speakers and panel discussions touching on topics such as “How to Get What You Want,” “How to Use Your Network,” “The Power of Networking,” and “Where Are We Today?” This conference celebrates Loyola’s new Certificate in Women’s Leadership, which is a joint initiative of the Gannon Center for Women & Leadership and SCPS.
The event will feature a keynote address given by State Representative of the 18th District of Illinois, Julie Hamos. This one-day event is $95 per person (15 percent discount for Loyola alumnae) and $45 for Loyola students.

Through the SCPS and the Gannon Center for Women & Leadership, Loyola has created a unique opportunity for Chicago’s women leaders to meet and inspire one another. The conference is presented in conjunction with the announcement of Loyola’s new Certificate in Women’s Leadership, an academic program beginning in the fall semester of 2008.
