Phil, Dan, and Anthony Ponce to Discuss Careers in Broadcasting at Loyola
Join veteran journalist Phil Ponce and his two sons, Dan and Anthony, as they share their secrets on developing successful careers in broadcast journalism at a free panel discussion hosted by Loyola University Chicago’s journalism program, the Loyola Student Chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists, and the Chicago Headline Club.
Phil Ponce, currently a Professional in Residence at Loyola, has had a long and distinguished career as a broadcast journalist, including his current position as anchor and managing editor of news for WTTW-TV’s Chicago Tonight. Now he finds his two sons following in his footsteps; Dan Ponce is a general assignment reporter with ABC affiliate WLS-TV and Anthony Ponce is a general assignment reporter at NBC’s WMAQ-TV.
