FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Second Annual Arts Botanica Exhibit to be Unveiled Tonight at the Loyola University Museum of Art
Join LUMA for a fun, flower-themed opening night reception to celebrate the return of the popular Arts Botanica exhibition, a special weeklong exhibition featuring the work of contemporary Chicago artists and some of the city’s most creative florists.
Local florists have created living floral compositions inspired by original artwork from the show’s participating artists. In creating their unique floral arrangements and installations, the florists have based their botanical subject matter on a number of contemporary art pieces including paintings, sculptures, videos, and fashion design.
